On June 3rd, 2023, at approximately 12:31 a.m., Lorenzo Butler Jr., age 14, was shot and killed. Mr. Butler was walking in the parking lot near 1202 Fountain Lane. Mr. Butler was approached by suspect(s) unknown and shot. An unknown vehicle was seen leaving the apartment complex after the shooting. Mr. Butler was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
