Today’s Wanted Wednesday focuses on a Felonious Assault/Receiving Stolen Property/ and Felony Fleeing out of Whitehall.
On 6-7-22 Mr. Maurice A. Vinson was driving a stolen car in Whitehall, Ohio. When officers attempted to stop Mr. Vinson he rammed police vehicles in order to avoid capture. He then led Officers on a high speed pursuit which included driving the wrong way on 670. Officers were called off of the pursuit due to the high rates of speed and due to him driving the wrong way on the highway. Mr. Vinson eventually crashed into a vehicle on the highway and fled on foot. Whitehall has filed felony warrants on Mr. Vinson including Felonious Assault, Receiving Stolen Property, and Fail to Comply/Felony Fleeing. Mr. Vinson also has active felony Probation Violation warrants for his arrest in Summit County. Those warrants include Felony theft (A Felony of the third degree) and Possession of Heroin a Felony of the fourth degree. Mr. Vinson is described as a male/black 25 year old that weighs roughly 185lbs and is about 6’1” in height.
