This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a Homicide that happen in Columbus in 2022.

On September 24, 2022, at 11:06PM Trevor Seymour was found on the lot of 3410 E. 5th Ave. suffering from gunshot wounds, he would soon succumb to those wounds at a local hospital. Mr. Seymour was in the area to visit a ‘cabaret’, located at 3370 E. 5th Ave., along with friends. Upon review of recovered surveillance footage of the area at the time of the incident several patrons of the cabaret saturated the area of the shooting. A dark colored sedan was also captured on video fleeing the area after the incident.

 


Columbus Police Homicide Detectives are looking for help from persons at the scene that witnessed the murder of Mr. Seymour along with anyone else that may have information regarding this incident.
