This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on Felony Assault from Columbus.

On September 26, 2025 at approximately 10:50-11:00 AM, SUSPECTS walked up the victim resident's driveway in the 2700 block of Freedom Trail confronting her at the front side of her house.  Without provocation, SUSPECT 1 began punching victim multiple times in the face causing serious injuries requiring medical treatment.  SUSPECTS then fled on foot.

SUSPECT 1 was described as a black male approximately 18-20 years of age, 5'08" tall, 160 pounds with visible tattoo sleeve on left forearm to left hand, wearing a short sleeve purple/black baseball jersey and orange shorts (photos attached).

SUSPECT 2 was described as black male approximately 15-18 years of age, 5'04" tall, 130 pounds wearing a white T-shirt with green logo "Change" and black Adidas shorts (photos attached).

One of the suspects also appeared on an officer’s body worn camera later wearing the same shorts (see attached).
