On September 8, 2022 at approximately 12:44 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of E. Broad St. where a male had been shot. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim Mr. Allen Wright II in a nearby parking lot suffering from multiple gunshots. Mr. Wright was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. No witnesses were on scene when officers arrived, and no suspect has been identified.
