On May 24, 2020 at approximately 9:06pm, officers were dispatched to the area of 1939 Maryland Ave on a gun run. Officers arrived at the scene and located the victim, Andrew Kelly, lying on the ground and suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Kelly was transported to the hospital for treatment; however he did not survive and was pronounced deceased at 11:55pm. Video obtained from this location shows that there was a fight between Mr. Kelly and some other males at this location. There were approximately 20 to 30 people at the scene when the shooting occurred. Columbus Police homicide is asking for any information.
