 This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a Homicide that took place in Columbus in 2023

On March 25, 2023 at approximately 12:16, Travis Rush, 46, was driven to Riverside Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The person who transported Rush was unable to provide investigators with the location where Rush had been shot or the circumstances that led to the shooting. Initially, Rush was expected to survive his injuries, but his condition began to deteriorate, and he was pronounced deceased on April 7, 2023. When Rush was shot, he was likely in the company of another person. Also, the two of them were driving a silver 2011 Kia Sorrento.
