This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a shooting that occurred on April 3,2023 at 10:05pm.

 

On April 3, 2023 at 10:05pm Columbus Police responded to the alley behind 279 N. Wayne Ave on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival police located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to a local hospital. The victim survived the injuries but is unable to recall any of the events on the night of the shooting. The suspect was an unknown male. The video and photos attached are of a vehicle that arrived several minutes prior to the shooting. The vehicle may not be involved in the shooting.
