Today’s Wanted Wednesday focuses on a murder that took place in Columbus.

On September 10, 2022, at approximately 8:04pm, officers were dispatched to the 1000 Block of E. 13th Ave. on the report of a shooting.  Officers arrived at scene and found Mr. Shomari F. Little suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  Officers rendered aid until CFD Medic #18 arrived and transported Mr. Little to OSU Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.  Despite receiving life-saving medical treatment, Mr. Little succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at 9:35pm.

Update: September 19, 2022, the suspect in this homicide has been identified as Mercedes B.G. Reyes.  A warrant for her arrest has been issued for the Murder of Shomari F. Little.  Ms. Mercedes Reyes is believed to be armed and dangerous.
