Wanted for the Homicide of Bryce Persang: Tahir Said and Hanut Abdulle

Today’s Wanted Wednesday focuses on two men wanted for Homicide out of Columbus.

On Thursday, September 16, 2021, at approximately 5:42 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the area of 5500 Floral Circle South on a report of someone being shot.  Officers arrived to the area of Norton Road and Floral Circle South where they discovered a male in the passenger seat of a silver Honda FIT suffering from a gunshot wound.  The Victim was later identified as Mr. Bryce Persang.  Prairie Township Medics responded and transported Mr. Persang to Doctors West Hospital where he was pronounced deceased due to his injuries.

It was later found out that the suspects identified as Mr. Tahir Said and Mr. Hanut Abdulle and the victim, Mr. Bryce Persang corresponded with each other to meet. Once at the meeting location in the area of the 5500 block of Floral Circle South a shooting occurred where Mr. Persang suffered  gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries.

Arrest warrants have been issued for both Mr. Tahir Said and Mr. Hanut Abdulle for the murder of Mr. Bryce Persang. Both men are believed to be armed and dangerous.
