Today’s Wanted Wednesday focuses on a Felonious Assault that took place in Columbus.

On June 25, 2021 at 9:06 p.m., the victim, Megan Polacek, who was driving a Ford F150, pulled onto the lot of the Shell gas station located at 1937 E. Livingston Ave. The gas station was very busy at the time and Ms. Polacek backed up to move out of the way of other vehicles leaving the lot. As. Ms. Polacek was backing the truck, a black Nissan Sentra that was being driven by Mr. Camron Simpson, was leaving the lot and attempting to turn left onto E. Livingston Ave. Ms. Polacek backed into the rear end of the black Nissan Sentra and Mr. Simpson leaned out the front driver side window and fired several gunshots into the back of the Ford F150 that Ms. Polacek was driving. The tailgate and the back of the cab of the pickup was stuck several times. Sitting behind Ms. Polacek at the time of the shooting was her 6 month old son, Martino Chandler Jr.

Mr. Simpson was identified as the shooter and now has a Felonious Assault (F2) warrant for his arrest.  Mr. Simpson is believed to be armed and dangerous.
