On Friday February 26th, 2021, at approximately 11:11pm the Gahanna Division of Police received a call for “shots fired” in the parking lot of the Cinemark Movies 16 located in the Stoneridge Plaza in Gahanna. Responding officers located Tyronn Brown, age 22, and an additional victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid to both victims. The injured victims were transported to area hospitals. Mr. Brown was later pronounced deceased and the second victim suffered severe injuries but survived. Witnesses described a silver or gray colored sedan arriving in the area prior to and stopping near the victims. Two males both described as being in their late teens early twenties exited with at least one of the suspects firing multiple shots before reentering the vehicle and immediately leaving the area.
The Gahanna Division of Police is requesting any information from witnesses who may have been present, or anyone who may have additional information about the shooting. Even if you have submitted a tip before about this incident, please submit your tip again.
