This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on Homicide from Columbus

On March 28, 2017, Columbus Police were dispatched on the report of human remains found by sanitation workers, located at 1300 S. Columbus Airport Road. During the investigation, DNA testing was conducted on the human remains. In 2019, the DNA result identified the body parts belonging to the victim, Candice Taylor. 

Candice Taylor was last seen alive by family members on June 24, 2017, living in the area of 4990 Chatterton Road. Ms. Taylor was preparing to move from this area to Cincinnati, Ohio with her boyfriend. There are no suspects in this case currently. 

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
