This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a felony hit-skip from Columbus of this year

On 1-24-26 at approximately 6:05PM, a male was crossing Morse Rd from the northside of the roadway to the southside of the roadway in a crosswalk, with the walk signal.  A dark colored SUV was making a right hand turn from Northtowne Blvd. to travel westbound on Morse Rd. striking the victim as he was in the crosswalk.  The victim was thrown to the ground from being struck by the SUV.  The SUV continued westbound on Morse Rd. without stopping after the traffic crash.  The victim suffered serious injuries that will impact him and his family for the rest of his life.  The suspect was driving a Dark SUV, unknown Make or Model.
