Today’s Crime of the Week focuses on homicide in the City of Columbus from January 2016

On January 6, 2016, at approximately 8:33pm, officers were dispatched to the area of 2323 Marcia Dr. on a report of a male on the sidewalk. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered the victim, Eddie Lovely, being unresponsive. Mr. Lovely was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics responded to the scene, but unfortunately Mr. Lovely did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 8:44pm.


Detectives are requesting that anyone with information call Det. Titus at 614-645-4059 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers.
