This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a Homicide that took place in Columbus.


Homicide

On July 16, 2021 at approximately 7:46PM the victim, Superia Wilson, and her boyfriend were sitting on the front porch to their apartment in the 2000 block of Grasemere Ave. As they were having conversation, a newer black Ford Fusion pulled in front of their apartment and three (3) people exited the vehicle. As the three (3) people approached the apartment, Ms. Wilson and her boyfriend fled into the apartment. As they got inside, the three (3) suspects began to shoot their weapons into the apartment. Ms. Wilson was struck by a projectile inside the apartment and was later pronounced deceased. Ms. Wilson just gave birth to a child and the child was nearly struck by one (1) of the projectiles shot into the residence.
