This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a Robbery that took place in Columbus



On May 22, 2024, at approximately 4:10 PM the victim was pumping gas and was approached by a black male with a darker complexion around 6' tall and 180lbs. The suspect had a short fade haircut. The suspect showed the victim a gun in his waistband and demanded money. He then took money from the victim’s wallet and then fled on foot.

Crime Stoppers does not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller. Crime Stoppers also takes calls from persons with information about any felony. Information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward as determined by the Crime Stoppers Board of Directors.
