This week’s Crime of the Week focuses on shots being fired into a house in Hilliard.

On December 10, 2023, around 2:30am, witnesses heard several gunshots in the area of the Scioto River, just north of Fishinger Blvd. Later that morning, a Hilliard resident discovered multiple bullets had stuck their house. One entered the kitchen and another into a nursery. The next morning, December 11, 2023, additional gunshots were heard in the same area. An investigation led officers and detectives to Griggs Reservoir Shelter House 5, where they found empty casings.

On December 15, 2023, more gunshots were reported. Detectives checked the convert cameras they had placed and observed three suspects around Shelter House 5 at 0110hrs that morning. One suspect had possession of the gun while the other two stood behind.
