On July 8, 2023, at around 1:00 am, Austin Roberts was the victim of a shooting that occurred at a residence in the 1400 Block of Bairstow Court. The suspect, JAYVEYON LOUIS GRAVELY intervened in an argument, produced a handgun and shot Mr. Roberts. Mr. Roberts passed away several hours later at Grant Medical Center. Immediately after the shooting, Mr. Gravely fled the scene with the murder weapon and has been in hiding ever since; Mr. Gravely possibly fled the State of Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Jayveyon Gravely is wanted for one count of Murder (F-1) and believed to be armed and dangerous.
