Today’s Midweek Special focuses on a Homicide which took place in Columbus in 2010.
On May 23, 2010, William Byrdsong was at Lollipops West after-hours club. An altercation took place in the club and two male patrons were ordered to leave. One of the men returned, firing a handgun multiple times into the club. William Byrdsong and another man were struck. William died from his injuries. The other victim was treated for his injuries and later released from the hospital. The shooter is described as: Male/Black, small build, brown complexion, 5’6″, 150lbs., wearing braids.
